Ebe Dancel On His Own

Kulasa heard Ebe first with his band Sugarfree way back with their first single “Mariposa”. I admit it, I’m guilty. At first I thought it was Ely Buendia hitting his tune alone (knowing Eraserheads has been disbanded for quite some time). Finally, Ebe established a signature voice in the local music scene. I heard another piece from them entitled “Wag Ka Nang Umiyak” in the year 2006 and which became popular by this generation because of its message. You’ve probably seen them performing live in popular music rooms.

Sugarfree was disbanded last March this present year, 2011. The decision was made in order to fill everyone’s obligation and entities. What I liked most is they did it with a blast. They made a farewell concert for Sugarfree adherents and made it a nice way of saying goodbye.

Now, Ebe decided to be on his own since April of the recent year. Proudly, with his own guts and talent, Ebe Dancel is launching his highly-anticipated album titled “Dalawang Mukha ng Pag-ibig”. It’s gonna be a local music event happening on September 29 at Teatrino Greenhills Promenade. All brought to you by Warner Music Philippines.

Andok’s Well-Oriented Genius Commercials

As far as I’m concerned, Andok’s is my favorite pasalubong from my dad. The roasted chicken has its subtle taste of lemon grass accompanied by their famous “sarsa” or gravy. Kulasa was only nine years old then. Andok’s has been in the business of roasted chicken (litson manok) for over 25 years now. Gradually, they added new concepts like grocery stores and light to hard chilled beverages.

Andok’s maintained its reputation by serving good quality roasted chicken. Together with their product menu included is “litsong liempo” (roasted pork belly) and dokito (fried chicken). Some franchisees upgraded their stalls into a small restaurant where they serve chilled beverages and ice creams as well.

Lately, I’ve spotted a funny tv advertisement in courtesy of youtube. It stars their proud product dokito. It was quiet hilarious and artistic as well. I found it interesting. Spend some time to watch it and make a review.

The several advertisements cleverness has been in the scene for over a month. I wonder why it haven’t aired in some leading television prime time ad sessions. Probable cause may be the commercial’s length. It may cost a bit expensive I bet. Anyway, hail to these pieces of artwork! And to all the people responsible! You make everyone proud including me.

Barely Half Breathing Made by MOA

One of ambitious plan that’s ever made by SM Prime Holdings was building the SM Mall of Asia. It is the 2^nd largest mall in the Philippines and ranked as the 4^th largest shopping mall in the world. Occupying the land area of 42 hectares which is located in Pasay City, you bet there’s a lot of establishments gathered in such one place. Prepare to get mauled upon entering those grounds. 

I’ve been browsing the net just to find out their schedules on Planetarium. One of MOA’s attractions but sadly, I didn’t know it until I visited and talked to the receptionist for every schedule of showing. In short, we didn’t experience one because it is fully booked by that time. Some other time may be…

Kulasa and her son walked together with thousands of people finding restaurant where we can eat and chill. Considering thousands of people, the mall was so jam packed more than you can imagine. Finally we landed at Classic Savory. We eat the usual, the chicken, the rice and everything. LOL. Then we left and had a view by the bay. I never dreamt of going to MOA honestly, just imagining its enormous land area makes me getting tired already and here we are.

Craving for an ice cream now makes the scene worst. We roam and roam just to find one. We spotted the Pancake House and dig in some of their sumptuous desserts. Alas! It made me smile for a while but my hips and legs are aching thoroughly.

Probably we’ll go back there to check the Planetarium as early as 9 am to have an early reservation. Prepare to get mauled again!
